Sciencenter Celebrates 30th Anniversary

February 28, 2013 marked the 30th anniversary of the Sciencenter. We are delighted to invite the community that helped build the Sciencenter to join us in celebrating, to learn more about Sciencenter history and programs, and to take a look toward the future as we develop new plans to empower young people to shape a better future.

Thank You, Volunteers!

The Sciencenter kicked off its 30th anniversary with a weekend of activities March 2 and 3. Volunteers helped to enhance the guest experience with classic Sciencenter hands-on activities, as well as facilitating the Touch Tank and Discovery Space activities. The Sciencenter would like to thank the 23 hard-working, energetic volunteers who helped us welcome more than 1,300 Celebration Weekend guests. Collectively, these volunteers logged more than 60 hours that weekend:
