Tech City

Partners and Sponsors

Tech City was developed with funding by the National Science Foundation by the Sciencenter, a hands-on science museum in Ithaca, in partnership with Cornell University.

Project co-directors include:

  • Dr. Charles H. Trautmann, executive director of the Sciencenter and adjunct associate professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Cornell
  • Dr. Anthony R. Ingraffea, the Dwight C. Baum Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Cornell

Both co-directors are registered professional engineers and long-time members of the American Society of Civil Engineers and other engineering societies and associations.

The Tech City exhibits were conceived and prototyped by the staff and volunteers of the Sciencenter. Video production is by Insights International, Inc. of Ithaca, NY. Design services were provided by the The Exhibition Alliance of Hamilton, NY. Project evaluation was performed by Inverness Research Associates of Inverness, CA.
