Radio Days Family Workshop

Radio Days Family Workshops are held in the spring and fall. Children age eight and up and their parents are invited to build a crystal radio and join in other activities such as detecting microwaves from space and hunting for a hidden transmitter.

An $18 fee covers the cost of materials for the one-day workshop. Participants of past workshops are welcome to troubleshoot, modify their radios, or participate in the other activities for free during workshop hours. Children age 12 and up may attend without parental participation. Radio Days Family Workshop is a sponsored program and financial assistance is available.
