Greek Peak Brings Winter to the Sciencenter

In an innovative new partnership, the Sciencenter and Greek Peak Mountain Resort are collaborating to bring fun, winter-themed presentations and hands-on activities to the community this winter. With generous support from Greek Peak, The Official Sponsor of Winter at the Sciencenter, the museum opened its doors free to everyone on December 3, and will continue the "Free Sunday" tradition on January 7 and February 4.

Come celebrate all that there is to do indoors and out this winter! Join us for the Science of Snow on January 7 to discover how ski mountains make artificial snow and groom their trails, and to participate in an interactive demonstration on how natural snow forms. The complete program will be available on our web site later this winter. When visiting the Greek Peak Children’s Center, be sure to check out the winter science activity kits for children ages 3 to 8 years, developed by the Sciencenter.
