Annual Gifts Really Make a Difference in 2005
(SciencenterNews, Summer 2005)We take great pride in putting your annual gift dollars to work immediately. Here's a sample of what annual fund gifts have allowed us to do so far in 2005:
- Provide a semester's worth of afterschool programming at GIAC
- Create 4 new holes on our Galaxy Golf course
- Construct three new exhibits: the Mystery Touch Box, the Air Cannon, and our new frog exhibit in the Saltonstall Animal Room
- Upgrade the filter system for our live coral reef tank
- Enhance our popular Scream Booth exhibit
- Deliver activities at community events, including the Ithaca Festival and Earth Day Celebration at the Farmers Market
- Purchase new materials for activities for the Curiosity Corner
