The Discovery Space is a quiet area for children to explore the world of science through activity kits and games. Visitors can experiment with topics such as fingerprinting, magnification, water and more.

Now There's More to Explore

Many new discovery boxes are now available: explore X-rays of people and animals with the X-ray Vision discovery box or use a geoboard and tangram puzzle to create patterns and shapes with the Shape It Up discovery box.

Visitors can also use prisms to bend light beams, and see how well they remember numbers, shapes, and objects.
