Summer Camp Counselor
Sciencenter, a hands-on science museum in Ithaca, NY, seeks dynamic, energetic individuals to help create a safe, fun, and educational summer day camp experience for children ages 7-11. Sciencenter Summer Camp combines fun and games with exciting, hands-on science activities, experiments, field trips, visits from special presenters, and museum exploration.
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will care for campers, ensure their safety, provide leadership and companionship, and educate campers about basic science concepts by presenting hands-on camp activities.
Please note: This is a seasonal full-time (40 hour/week) position that does not include Sciencenter benefits.

Summer Camp Assistant
Sciencenter, a hands-on science museum in Ithaca, NY, seeks dynamic, energetic individuals to help create a safe, fun, and educational summer day camp experience for children ages 7-11. Sciencenter Summer Camp combines fun and games with exciting, hands-on science activities, experiments, field trips, visits from special presenters, and museum exploration.
As a Summer Camp Assistant, you will spend a portion of each day assisting camp staff and providing companionship, leadership and care for campers and CIT's. This position is designed for students entering 11th or 12th grade with a strong interest in science.
Please note: This is a seasonal, part-time (25 hour/week) position that does not include Sciencenter benefits.
